In every season, the Truro area has a lot to offer as backdrops for your photo sessions!

Victoria Park

For those who don't mind a bit of a hike, the falls and trail on route never fail to please. Even when they are not full of water, the rocks behind provide a natural rough texture and there are so many gorgeous spots to stop and pose between the parking lot and your destination.

Easier to access areas include:

  • The ladder adjacent to the pool parking lot
  • Both bridges that connect the pool area to the playground
  • The lookoff at the park trail on the top of Wood Street

Other Parks

We actually have quite a few little parks in Colchester County! Here are a few to try.

  • Kiwanis Park off Robie. This is a great location with the pond, graceful trees and a little deck looking out over the water.
  • The playground and walking trail on Guest Drive off College Road is so fun to use, especially if there are children in your group.
  • The Alumni Gardens and Rock Gardens at the Dal AC may be a bit more formal, but they are wonderful for portraits.

Urban Areas

If your vibe is more town than country, you might want to consider these locations.

  • The Colchester East Hants library steps or grounds
  • Farmer's Market and the Colchester Historical Museum steps
  • Any sidewalk location along Prince or Inglis Place
